This is something that's almost completely lost in translation, but the line from Kaoru in page 1 is a reference to the opening theme song of Revolutionary Girl Utena. There's so many different translations of the song that nothing was going to be immediately recognisable in English, but I still felt pretty unsatisfied with how I translated it, so I've changed that page.

I still think it's pretty hard to notice, but at least it uses the "go on living" phrasing now that most translations of the song use.

Little brother, actually. And with how the volume version turned the school from co-ed into a girls' school, also the first male character to make an appearance.

And honestly I should've stewed on that translation a bit longer. The raw is "dislike of opposite-sex parents" but it sounded way too wordy and unnatural any way I wrote it out, so I tried to convey the same meaning in a more natural manner. I'm realising it influenced the meaning too much, which I'm not happy about.

I've edited the page to be more of a middle-ground even if I think it reads worse, but it more accurately reflects the original.

If they are so against the fan translation why don't they release an English version? Is it that hard to find a professional translator? I'm ready to buy it even if it's only a digital release.

I understand that they want to protect their works but when you have people overseas who are willing to spend their free time to make a professional like translation of your work and encouraging people to buy the manga when it's release in a language they don't understand just to support you...

Having a fan translation never stop people to buy the official translation released after.
