Could be misinterpreting it, but because the previous panels are his internal thoughts, shouldn’t the speech in page 26 from Brad instead of the Republic guys?
If yes, the previous scene showed him thinking of what Leon would do, so it’s probably something like “Come and do your worst” to his assailants.

Which villainess? Surely you don't mean Angelica or the Principality's princesses? None of them were that. An actual example of one in the original story was the Count's daughter that was allied with pirates and she was a carbon copy of Pierre, down to the very facial expressions, just generswapped.

Well... Angelica was the antagonist of the first game, so I'd say she very much qualifies as a villainess.

She never really acted as one in the story. If it's the game that the MC's nameless original persona played you mean, then it's heavily implied that she wasn't one in there either and the actual villainess was a possesed Olivia who worked behind the scenes in order to orchestrate her downfall. The source of that is mainly a spinoff, but there are also scenes in the main novel as well, when Olivia sees events that never happened, in which she was seemingly responsible for having Luxion destroy Holfort.
