Problem is she’s a get out of jail free card for the MC and has been carrying the entire squad at this point and that’s a problem. In order to bring some tension to the story, she has to go. Sad to say, especially when she’s a good replacement to be Queen when All Mother is defeated.

Because witches dont exactly advertise their weakness, especially someone as the Empress that everyone accepted as their ruler without asking questions.

And if we are talking about vampire lore then we would have some conflicting ones since take Dracula, we all assume vampires are killed by sunlight but that comes from the movie Nosferatu, in Bram Stoker Dracula he walked in sunlight even if he was a bit weakened.

Also decapitation tends to be fatal to Vampires so she aint one.

Author was relying too much on Leighmary to solve problems so if she's out of commission for a while that's not too bad. What I hope is that now it won't take another 20 chapters to find the empress' weakness.
