This particularly hard for me to read, my father passed away from AML last year, a type of cancer and leukemia to boot. A very similar disease they are currently fighting, we threw everything including the kitchen sink at this and despite catching it super early, it killed him 8 months later. I remember begging for any type of God, magic, miracle, demon, aliens.. I didn't care. Shout out to UCH for allowing him to participate in their experimental treatments, and if you're reading this and you or a family member are diagnosed, FIGHT.. FUCK CANCER.

My father was diagnosed with AML. One of his brothers was a match for the bone marrow transplant which is a miracle in itself. He survived but it was a very brutal process.

My mother was diagonosed with cancer. She lived for a good while after despite being unable to find a cure for it. She went through many different experimental drugs, but nothing worked out.

Bottom line is that despite a huge advancement on cures for cancer it really does suck.

agreed zoomer brainrot is a huge exaggeration. the phrase was very out of place in a historical fantasy setting, but its not like it was incomprehensible to someone who isnt terminally online

Same. I was immersed in it, but then that came up and got me out if it. Didn't feel appropriate at all.

Did Falma actually say "Let's fucking go!" or is that a creative liberty on the part of the translator? If he did actually say that, it feels very out of place in this manga and in Falma's personality, and I'm not sure why the author included it.

If it's the translator, please consider removing it. It does not fit the narrative at all, and honestly is more detracting than intended.

To all the people who are discussing the f-bomb in the chapter:

Taking a look at the raws for chapter 60, it looks like Falma said 「いけるぞ」, which is informal and means "Let's go".
Disregarding the swearing, that is accurate to what the mangaka conveyed.

The way I see it, combined with the flashback, this is Falma's past self coming into thought and responding this way, which would be a lot more modern and likely more informal, as we see in the panel.
