Hi, I use MangaDex by adding it to my home screen on iOS, which enables it to be used in full screen. As I’ve used it like that for a long time, I couldn’t help but notice some things that could improve the user experience. Here are some of them:

- While it does offer an icon, it looks out of place by being round, while iOS icons are more square. Not a big complaint, but makes it look a bit out of place.
- The hamburger menu, while making sense for a narrow phone screen, is problematic for the larger screen of the iPad.
- Continuing a series from where you’ve left off can be troublesome because the history only keeps the last 10 titles. When it comes to a long series, I sometimes have to navigate multiple pages to reach the last read chapter if it has dropped of the history tab.

@ljb72 can you screenshot the icon, I'll make something to replace it
Also, the site does support swiping to open the hamburger menu. Not obvious, but it works

In iOS 12+ swiping makes you go back to a previous page, so it can’t be properly used as a way of activating the hamburger menu.
Here’s the icon as it looks on my iPad:

@ljb72, about keeping track of where you left off, you should use the follows instead of your history. You can follow a series on the series' page, and chapters will then be marked as read once you read them.
You can also see new chapters for series you follow at https://mangadex.org/follows (this link is also available in the hamburger menu)

See these two pages for the official tutorial by Bocchi-sensei

It’s mostly a problem with series that have a LOT of chapters, like Seitokai Yakuindomo or that one about the cat. If you’ve read them up to, say, chapter 250 out of 600, and then go for a while without reading it, you’ll likely push the last read chapter out of your history and will have to traverse a whole lot of pages until you find the last read one. I’d compare this with Tachiyomi, where you can choose to hide read chapters and reverse the order to oldest chapters first, making it a whole lot easier.
