Obviously they're twisted and evil, that's the problem. It makes showing their pre-dragon sad backstories fall flat because I don't sympathize with inhuman monsters. It also makes killing civilians fall flat because obviously they don't actually care about their toys, they're inhuman monsters. We've already long passed the point where the only solution is dragon genocide, there's no need to play up how twisted and evil the dragons are, we've seen enough of it with their every action across the entire series. You are misunderstanding something because of Artemisia’s distorted and disturbing benevolence, they are not being humanized at all, they are TWISTED beings to the core, if you considered their behaviours human at some point, I suggest you have a read again. They lose almost all (if not all) sense of human emotion, whatever remains are residues which end up being twisted in some way.
Except unlike us, we are following the story of people who have the ability to make these antagonists suffer as much as possible. This is no different than the actual world we live in. Do you know how many people got no punishment for their war crimes? The psychos from Unit 731, many german scientists, high ranking officials that authorized massacres, fake news by the govt (like the casus belli in vietnam) and so on
yupsaw that coming from 10 miles away.
You're just suggesting a bland story where mc kills a faceless plain villain with no actual motives besides being evil for the sake of evil. If that's a story you like then this isn't for you, go and read Overlord or something.Obviously they're twisted and evil, that's the problem. "If the story doesn't develop in the way I want it to it's garbage". What a dumb fucking reasoning. If these dragons don't suffer in their last moments than this manga is garbage plain and simple. Ridiculous how easy they got off compared to the amount of suffering they cause.
Anyone can twist words around to make something seem stupid."If the story doesn't develop in the way I want it to it's garbage". What a dumb fucking reasoning.
Goblin Slayer logic. I like itThe only good wyrm is a dead wyrm. NOW LETS MAKE SOME WYRMS GOOD!
- Ragna, probably in a crazed, manic state again

What I said is correct, the author is constantly showing how terrible and torture esque these creatures are and giving no reliable pay off for when they finally meet their end. It's edge for the sake of it, we got it the first time when the wind dragon slowly killed a bunch civilians for days on end.
Instantly dying is mercy work compared to what atrocities they commit unimpeded.
That's understandable for busted dragons like Kamui and Ultimatia and possible the latest new dragons but he has Crimson with him this time from the start, who has a plethora of advanced tech and magic to help him out with that.honestly, ragna cannot afford to make dragons suffer painfully even though i’m sure he wants too. he has to kill them as fast as possible before they turn the tides against him. the dragons are just too strong for him to be worrying about torturing them, you just have purge the virus immediately. sure, ragna can break all their bones slowly and burn them alive etc etc but in that time they will be able to retaliate 100 times over, maybe call for backup and possibly even recover. if you get what i mean?
I'm not twisting anything, it's literally what you're saying. The story not developing the way you think it should doesn't mean it's garbage.Anyone can twist words around to make something seem stupid.

No that's exactly what you are doing because you knew it was valid.I'm not twisting anything, it's literally what you're saying. The story not developing the way you think it should doesn't mean it's garbage.
What you said isn't correct in the slightest. Your head is just stuck too far up your own ass to see otherwise.Anyone can twist words around to make something seem stupid.

What are you on about? There is nothing backing this up, especially considering crimson is the one that said they should utilize strategies merely to outrun Kamui. None of the tech crimson has shown so far would do anything against Kamui. So please, how would they be able to torture him? Artemisia also burnt alive, so she didn't get an instant death. You're just whining because you don't get to read torture porn. That's understandable for busted dragons like Kamui and Ultimatia and possible the latest new dragons but he has Crimson with him this time from the start, who has a plethora of advanced tech and magic to help him out with that.
They have the ability to do it, it's just up to the author if they actually want them to do it and fast he wants to power up the ragna to deal with the latest threats.
Compared to slowly being cut for a week, yes it was an easy death. Pain to these dragons is different from the pain from the humans. Ragan has it made that clear. What you said isn't correct in the slightest. Your head is just stuck too far up your own ass to see otherwise.
It's funny how you use disaster thrower as an example as a character getting an easy death when he died like this: he was impaled in the heart with a silver spear, he then began burning alive due to the sun, he got up and tried to escape, and then got hit by a humvee. And that's ignoring the mental aspect. He did NOT have an easy death.
