What the fuck is wrong with you people? Her backstory is tragic, rape is awful and her mother is terrible, but Shiro isn't the bad guy here. Homewrecking is bad, sure, but that's mostly of the men for not saying no. She is allowed to flirt with and have sex with whoever she wants to, and she hasn't raped anybody as far as we know. It has all been consensual.

The Shiori hate here is wild, and I bet you wouldn't react this way if it was a male character. Women can be perverted and want to have sex to, shocker. It's not a crime.

That remains to be seen. She may have just let him go because she wasn't adequately prepared. A man accustomed to manual labor is undoubtedly stronger than a soft female librarian. I'm so confused by author girl's actions last chapter. She's always annoying nosy and trying to push our two MCs together, so why would she willingly push another woman off onto our dude?

This manga really took a nose dive in quality, the author wasn't satisfied with the drunk hentai mangaka and now he wants us to accept an actual rapist in the main cast.
Fan service is one thing, having your protagonist sexually assaulted and almost raped is another.
