@Southelgin25No not exactly, it was officially licensed by a english publishing company so no unofficial translation group will pick it up, but on the bright side you can now purchase translated versions.

@firefox1234 I'd say it's more like the scanlator groups don't find this one to be worth the increased chance of cease and desist type mail heading their way, since plenty of licensed series do still get scanlated. Look at One Piece for instance.

@BzzBzz Well, another interesting thing with One Piece in particular as the example is, let's say we're reading it on here. Since we're, well, reading things on here. Once you hit the point where you'd have to go to the scanlator's site because of the upload delay... you can just read the official one. The three most recent chapters are free. This includes the two chapters that are currently waiting on the upload delay here. At that point, you can keep up with it weekly from there as far as I can tell. It says new free chapters every week, so I assume what you're paying for there is full archive access and such.
