They're probably going to stab her with the life-giving Medusa vial, either before or after they "kill" her.
My though exactly... use the insta death thing on her then revive her using the other one. :wowee:
Hope I'm wrong because if it is so, it's boring. :nyoron:

I fucking hate brainwashing subplots because it's such a busted power that the moment you use it as a plot gimmick, everyone will wonder why he is not the king of the world right now because apparently he can just use it without much hustle. Such a retarded way to raise the stakes.

MC better destroy that motherfuckers ass next time he sees him.

I'm not saying she wants to, my grievance is with the author trying to push this narrative that the people of the world are "real" but at the same time they're more than willing to just make them set pieces willy nilly.
Well, think about it this way: if you were able to return to the past IRL but, on doing so, didn't behave any differently, would anyone else's behavior change? I don't think they would. Being "real" doesn't mean they should respond differently to the same stimulus when experiencing it for the first time, even if to an outside observer it doesn't look like the "first time" anymore.
Her fall happened overnight with minimal pushback, they are so removed from the original plot of the game but still managed to trigger it, even though she shouldn't be that inline with her original self anymore.
I mean, in-universe she's only known the MC for a couple of days, whereas her entire life up until that point was exactly the same as represented in the game; this is also true of everyone else in the world. If this event where "something pushes Kiira over the edge and she turns into a demon" was already in the game, it implies she was already near her breaking point before she ever met Shachiku. And Brams's mind control bears that out: he almost exclusively pointed to frustrations in her backstory to break down her mental defenses, and she only lashed out at Shachiku after she was already fully under his control.

I mean, yeah but this is not a game "game" so can't you just cut her arms and legs (you know something you can heal later on) and get her to somewhere safe so you can try and recover her?
Also the whole panacea thing that heals all status...

He's Dracula, mind-control is one of his main powers.
Then why is he worried? Just turn everyone and make them attack the MC? What is stopping him from taking over the world? You see where i'm going with this? The moment you introduce this retarded power, there are many questions that comes with it instantly undermining the entire plot.

I feel like the save mechanic will still be important. Why even bring it up and establish it, if it was never going to be relevant to the story? We might as well have never had it brought it.
I'm guessing that the MC will die, and he will go back to the save point, because he's incorruptible (in a programming/game sense), and thus his save remains -- though whether that will be from this event, or a later one, we'll have to see. :thonk:

I mean, he's probably one of the demon king's elite four because he could take over the world on his own if he weren't stopped. Arachne and Raspi were also in that camp, lest we forget! Arachne was even doing the mind-control thing first (although in her case it was more like body/corpse control). And together, they already have taken over most of the world.

But it seems like it's not exactly free to use on his end either; setting aside that he had to lose a lot of blood to even get the chance to take her over in the first place, he also didn't do it until after releasing control of Lord Tesset, so he might not be able to fully control multiple people at once. Mind control in fantasy is often a "battle of wills" sort of thing, so while he might be able to dominate a single person or even a small group, he almost certainly doesn't possess the combined willpower of an entire country.

Hahaha, narf!

Gee, I wonder what that panacea might be useful for :smug:

Interesting that the save data got destroyed, I wonder if that will have any consequences beyond not being able to save or if it can be repaired since it's technically just a diary...

If Shachiku's ability is to influence the world to make it like the game, I wonder if his desire to fight pre-nerf Brahm will unintentionally power him up to pre-nerf levels even though the world is seemingly on a later patch

I know people won't like losing her, but I'd give the author a lot of credit if they actually killed her off instead of saving her as we can expect.

Dang....those look extra huge in that new outfit.

I like the implication that loading a save is seriously a thing that could have been done if they tried it. Shachiku really shoulda told her it was an option beforehand.

Time to blow open a new path. Probably something about turning Brahms.

I swear if we spare another antagonist characters without any consequences of their past actions
What? Have they forgiven or shown mercy to literally any antagonist so far?
