If RPGs and detective/thriller stories taught me anything, it's that you never trust a calm, chill person wearing glasses - or in Chronid's case, a monocle - on the subject of who's a traitor. I think the traitor might be related to Brams. The fact that he’s supposed to be the wise member of the Four Kings while the Orvus head, called the Abyssal Wisdom, seems to share the same hair color as Brams is rather suspicious.

I’m thinking Brams is a vampire just because of his pointy ears and that he used to be on the humans’ side before transforming, with him now leveraging his connection with his family’s descendants somehow.

edit: saw someone bring up it just being a character editor item & now i'm wondering if it's the type of game with just "you play as girl or boy" options or if there's a full editor buried in there that he's ignoring & sticking with defaults because it's faster. it'd be pretty funny if he could use it to instantly grow a beard or become some fucked up Oblivion/Palworld monstrocity & honestly a good joke if he did so & all of the characters were just like "??? didn't you always look like that though?" if/when he changes back

It's more likely a reference to Fia's Mirror from Elden Ring, if anything. Actually there's a fair amount of "look in the mirror and adjust your cosmetic traits" in video games.

Of course, gender being merely cosmetic is part of the otherworldliness. Casually swapping flesh suits is what eldritch abominations do.

Kinda crazy tech in this game, being able to clip into any wall without prior investigation? That's pretty cool. Also i just realised that games that have super precise movement (like this one) can let you get skew off of basically anything given you have precise enough inputs (i'd think maybe frame perfect cause skew souldn't be able to be attained in normal gameplay to NOT be able to clip through any wall) and enough game knowledge. Thx for the TL, can't wait to see if only the king is the traitor or if there's another in the sages or maybe even more.

Well, think of the crazy glitches in games like Ocarina of Time or Sskyrim. His glitches are almost tame compared to some of the Sskyrim sstuff. Like walking through walls by holding a bucket in front of you, or flying into space by pulling a bucket up towards yourself.
