Thanks and congrats for completing the series.
Tbf, the story is about a city and characters that are full of chaos, and the ending is just as chaotic.
This series revolves around Yoshida and shows her changed from a compliant employee to a someone more radical and uphold their (crazy) ideas strongly as she rise up in her station. This is in line with most characters in the story with authority (e.g., podesta, madam witch, tax office, mages guild head, first postmaster, etc.), they are all a bit crazy and push their ideals around.
So in some ways at the end she truly has assimilated with the city (for better and worse).
Though I do want a bit more exposition and details on other things, which hopefully we get in the extras.
