I had to go back and reread the previous two thirds of the chapter (which felt wrong to write) so I could figure out what just happened. That progressed at mach 4. From "hey we just talked to that goofy elf" to "FINAL BOSS OF THE MOUNTAIN, HARDCORE MODE" in zero seconds.

She did what he did at the beginning, rush because she felt inferior. Presea needs the herb and she doesn't have the guarantee to get it and it's probably urgent so I understand her mistake.
except that he didn't know that was dragon territory

I'm not talking about the awakening accident, I'm talking about the fight with the party at chapter 1, also the dragon went out on a hunt just before Presea rushed to the nest, she though it was her chance not knowing that dragon is highly territorial.

Yeah, she did what a young support did, except as a solo adult, separate from weird elf age shenanigans.

Getting the herb 2 minutes faster does not change the surrounded by monsters, and the only meaningful purpose is to secure a sample before it gets damaged in a fight. Which you can also do by NOT charging straight in guns blazing where the herbs are.

There is a reasonable number of mistakes to make due to people being imperfect. This is "more dangerous to her sister than the disease" number of mistakes.

I'm not one to defend heroines, definitely not going to defend Sasha ever but in this case there are a few plausible excuses, for once she though the dragon went to hunt and the nest was empty, Presea is B rank so is also plausible for her to not know S++ rank monsters info and she has no guarantee MC was ever going to give her the herb in case there were not enough so I understand her impatience.

Happy holydays... i know is not everyone's cup of tea, but i like when the TL shares their mind about stuff, like a one way manga club

...also, the MC is leaning to tsun territory with all that self justification, but i like it when the character is not full on edge... but also makes me a bit disheartened that he will eventually just forgive everyone at the party, i mean, regardless of the intention they did him bad and kept doing it, if not for the awakening he would be the lowest of the low (and dead, lest not forget the dead part) with their brand of "charity"

Yeah about that, I can confirm
This has yet to be solved in 300+ chapters of the Web Novel. The MC has yet to forgive them but it is questionable how much this matters or if anything would change after forgiving them. He is decently friendly with them already. And he was always kinda chill with them apart from the very early episodes and he mostly only gets angry when they act stupid like Sasha's botched apology. Sacred's side is kinda annoying because many times they mention that he still hasn't forgiven them which is wild because everyone keeps putting "forgiveness" as something the MC will or won't do and never as something team Sacred should work towards to deserve it in the first place. They don't give a real apology, no reflection, no making amends, nothing! it is just a "the situation sucks" or "I'm sorry you feel offended"

We still don't know what went through their heads that stopped them from apologizing for 2 whole years apart from "Sasha was scared"

The worst thing that happened because of this drama was that they had to work together for something and the MC got cold feet because he felt he was starting to forgive them and then Sasha started crying and they went like "Oh shit right, we haven't solved this issue" then proceeded to do nothing about it, Sasha and Hayce just had a conversation that solved nothing and was just like "well, we can have a new but different relationship! yay!" which is weird because that was exactly what they've been doing for a while already and they had full knowledge of it. Later Sasha had to do a trial where she was forced to watch herself kicking Haise out and what happened to him afterwards, and then a scenario of what would've happened if she didn't kick him out. But after she completed this trial, it was kinda forgotten, we never get Sasha thinking about it.

If you are reading this series just waiting for a satisfying resolution to this drama, then stop 😂, this is the hook of the series so the author is probably will keep it going till the end, the rest is cool, the characters are ok, the series is really funny, Hayce is cool, all arcs are pretty entertaining, the world-building is pretty decent, and if you enjoy your little drama for drama's sake and not for resolution then this series does a nice job about it.

That's exactly when I dropped the novel, because I know that
after that disappointing reconciliation the only future possible is first wife Sasha, it feels like the MC is an abuse victim that returns to the abuser because the old times were good, it's the same with the party, they are back drinking and trusting their backs to each other without proper resolution.
My only hope right now is the rumor that the LN and manga have been heavily edited so there's still the chance.

I have zero hopes but to be real, 99% of series with dramas similar to this never get a satisfying conclusion for me, (be it that the author has a different opinion about who is at fault or how much they are at fault, or that the author is just bad, or that a satisfying conclusion is kinda impossible to begin with or would end the series) So I'm just used to it by this point.

If the manga and the LN actually change things, I just hope for the author to make clear who is at fault and to what degree, instead of this infinite limbo of "the situation just sucks, I did my best, I don't regret anything, but I feel guilty, I want forgiveness, I also won't do jack shit to obtain forgiveness, I will just feel sad and stuff"

Somethin that I would definitely change is
The trial for Sasha. Instead of just showing it the alternative timeline where she doesn't kick out Hayce, also show her what would happen if she was about to kick him but gave him a chance to make his case (as he just got the book), or what would've happened if she didn't chicken out and abandoned him when he was injured from a situation she created, or what if she apologized after a couple of months of a year after the incident, or what if instead of giving up so quickly she kept reaching out after her botched confession. Also, after the trial, she should reflect on it instead of completely forgetting about it
