TBF he never said she was a good person just that she wasn’t a bad person
My guess is the guild master will probably make her pay for the damages since she’s a S rank Adventurer. Just cause she didn’t say anything there doesn’t mean she won’t throw the book at her later
Oh and I just remembered magic is a thing so it’s probably easy to fix property damage using it
Depends on how the magic system functions.
Magic is either ill defined as a soft magic system or defined with clear structure in a hard system. We have not had much delving into it, so it's likely closer to a soft system, but most magic we've seen isn't really in the constructive field type, so who really knows. And if magic is considered elite, it may be beneath them to focus magic on construction tasks. But that would be dependent on world building and the main focus is more about the misadventures of a single dad and how he charms everyone around him.
I expect the matter to be dropped and the story to just keep trucking along with taunting Sweet Home Alabama and more slice of life medieval fantasy romcom hijinks until the next big threat starts to reveal itself in foreshadowing or sudden drastic event and then everything gets resolved by the daddy saving the day. Which is fine, sometimes you're in the mood for some trashy stories with low stakes and cute girls.
Though there are always little things that do touch on some nerves.
Like when you have a particularly abusive tsundere type character who isn't cute but insufferable. You know you wanted trashy romcom, but sometimes the trash happens to taste particularly foul that day.
