Happy enough ending it is then. Not too bad considering the circumstances. They'll go back to being a family, but it is a bit of a shame that the other girl is just stuck in the group home still. In fact, it feels as if this ending chapter should have been longer and was trimmed short for some reason.

Is there a chapter missing ?..

Kinda feel like the chapter is disconnected from the chapter before, like it feels sorta strange in terms of transition, though maybe thats just me reading it at 7am in the morning 😶
I mean, it's a timeskip epilogue. The majority of the story takes place in winter and this chapter is set in spring.

Personally glad that it ended and that it ended like this. Shiika gets closure for herself and maybe the guilt she felt will fade over time. MC probably finally has the ability to move on, even if he'll be shunned by society for the rest of his life or until knowledge of his crime fades away, he has a family to lean on now and that's what matters most to someone like that.

The ending felt so rushed. I wonder if it was getting axed.... I wish they touched upon more on the society in how they feel about how if murder is justified or what would you do in the same situation as the older brother. Heck, talk more about the orphan kid's backstory.

Thank you for hard work on translating

Thank you so much for finishing the English translation. Although I feel like the story got harder to follow over time, I can still enjoy the first volume and the art, especially Shiika's expression when she sees her "big brother."

Just figured out the issue was the 7am part 😶..

I literally mixed Shiika and her brother up, which threw everything into wack for me only half awake they look the same tho 🥲
