I think they're trying to use Mira's slime to slip in and dispose of the hidden evidence, that's why she didn't have it with her. If the slime is caught in the process then Mira will take all of the blame and the rest of the organization will silence her to complete the cover up.

Thank you for your work !
I'm a little confused by this chapter but i'm also tired, it hink i'm going to re-read it to have a better uderstanding.

Short version is:
The veil girl is fine, the tan one sus.
There's likely some hidden thing in the location they raided (possibly noble-related) and the organization is pushing MIra to do something to use her as distraction/scapegoat to get that hidden thing.

How old does she actually look if she seems like her illegitimate child?

She really looks out of place in the guild. She's half the height of everyone else. There aren't even any other young adventurers.
Agreed. Doesn't help that Ivy looks very young due to being malnourished and her hard life, most are surprised at her true age. I think the guys thought she was 7.

If it follows the web novel, then it will be more confusing and drawn out (in an attempt to clarify). I actually hope they figure out a way to cull it shorter and make it easier to follow somehow.

This chapter has Ivy working with her adventurer / guard buddies she trusts, while trying to figure out how to deal with Mira. Mira brought those two girls in to build a sense of familiarity (and trust that come with that) with Ivy, not knowing she is suspected, and also get a helping hand from a colleague in entrapping Ivy (going into the forest with them). The third girl is a tag-a-long neither Mira's or Ivy's group know how to deal with.

If Ivy wasn't trying to trap the kidnappers actively, I'd be annoyed with the forced relations. She doesn't have to like or interact with everyone.

Thank you <3 !
I have a little part in me that want a redemption arc for Mira cause her first apparence painted her like a "relatable sister"....I'm going to put that little hope in a closet for now, and i think it's really good that we can't really tell first glace with how the character are draw if they are "bad" or "good"!
