I mean.. Who knows thinking about the Police Interrogation and her 'Grandpa' being mentioned, it all also could've happened after she died through her 'Grandpa' and the police informed people about her passing on, that'd explain why it could be in the play, if it is one ~

My understanding is that Koto knows Aya so well that she can tell exactly how she is going to act and respond to certain situations beforehand, like a writer writing a character
