I think she does. I'd probably agree that it's a bit small compared to the weight of the prior arc, but i think its there.

That does end up being the resolution, but i think hearing Aoi that he might not be ok and worrying about him and checking on him indicates she cares about him plenty (see Sasha saying "i'm sure he's fine" to Aoi while talking about it being fuel for his next work then being worried about him after he's still not at school the next day). Is it a bit crude, sure, since it loops back around to Sasha being right anyways and it is kind of just the same as before, but there's something to her worrying, we've seen her yearn for him a couple of times, but worry is new iirc. I also think Sasha wanting to read one of his doujins with Aoi is a level of interest in a boy she's probably never shared before.

Aoi and Kana know she's sleeping around (or was before Master, by her own admission and the fact that she's constantly around Master makes it seem like she's taken a step back from some of her sex friends), but they're still protective of her the way that those types of friends are, and they've softened to Master over time because they get that he cares about her and She cares about him. I think it works well enough.
