While Aira’s action may irk some people, I don’t think she is to be blamed. I haven’t read on the subject enough to really say for sure, but Aira seems to be suffering from a kind of Stockholm syndrome or something similar. In other words, she is not seeing straight.

Prince Kyle, on the other hand, should have known better. For one, he already made a big blunder on the day of saintess summoning. Any smart prince would have realized that pissing off any potential saintesses is plain bad move. For another, not reflecting on his own behavior and leaving others to wipe his own ass just showed his immaturity. (even his father, the FREAKING king, apologized).

@Glomoro: Nah, without intervention like in Endo and Kobayashi (in that case quite a literal divine intervention), the first prince remains oblivious.

Aira has to be the one to break out of her shell in this case, the longer she kept relying on his judgement, the less others can help.

Feel bad for Aira...she’s like a naive sheltered child that doesn’t know much about the world all because of dumbass prince. She definitely has the potential to be more and does want to do more BUT Kyle always diminishes her potential and thinks it’s too much for her. I think she should stop being scared that she might lose Kyle as a friend, his protection, and his trust and stand up for herself and do what she wants! Hope to see that day ❤️

This is definitely not something like Stockholm Syndrome, not even close actually. Read again about the illness. This girl is weak willed and this is causing harm to other people, there's no mental illness involved, no excuses. She's just egoistic and weak willed and prefers to be protected than do shit herself.

He still does not know that there was a 2nd summoned lady. It is like he has never checked anything other then what he saw with his own eyes, and in the summoning he never looked past Aria. Either no one tried to tell him about Sei, or much more likely he just never listened. The same with his he is NOT listening to anyone about how he is screwing up taking care of Aria

Once Sei's accomplishments start becoming talked about he thinks that they lies and a plot because Aria has not accomplishments, and even publicly states as much without having bothered verify there is nothing to them or even ask his father or anyone else "why would he be letting these rumors spread". Just publicly states that there is no other Saint ( keep in mind a Saint could be born in their world, so summoning one does not mean that there is another that they simply missed)

Personally I think Aria was summoned because she matches what the prince was looking for (his age, cute and innocent with healing magic), and the rest involved looking for an actual saint got Sei.

@mintcinno : she can not, from her perspective if she loses his support, she loses her sources of food and shelter
She has no way to support herself in the world, and Kyle has been keeping her from developing what she needs to do so.

@fuyuhakai : it is dependence, she needs him to live as she fan not support herself.

8th December 2020? I just can't get behind marketing strategies of publishers. I don't know their internal working processes, but I simple can't believe it takes them over 7 Months to publish a title, that is hot right now. They do possess contacts to printing companies, do have distribution chains and resellers. In most cases the layout mirrors the originals or other mangas they publish. And we do know, that a decent translation and the cleanup, doesn't take months. Honestly, the part, which takes longest in some cases, should be acquiring the rights to publish the title. It has to be the marketing strategy. Don't they take into account, that many fans (maybe even the most) become aware of a new title, by reading it online? By officially acquiring a title they end fan-translations of it. To capitalize on the fan-community, you'd expect them to move fast. Instead they seem to be waiting until the fans moved on and can't really remember the storyline anymore. I can't imagine, they make a bigger profit by delaying the manga.

Whoa, how can anyone be that ignorant? I can’t believe he didn’t see Sei at the summoning or heard about Sei later. If he were some commoner living day by day working in the field, it might be believed that he didn’t hear about Sei (as I believed her existence has not been made public yet), but he is the prince, one of the people who should know what goes on in the royal palace. He is just unbelievable.

@Qelix Well, paper publishing has always moved at a glacial pace. Slow as molasses, I mean take a super profitable series like Harry Potter the first one came out in 1997 and seven books later the last one came out in 2007. That's ten years for 7 books! Don't even get me started on Game of Thrones, (5 books in the last 24 years) even the super fans joke about how the author is going to die of old age before his finishes the series.

At least the now a days you can blame delays on Corona related shut-downs..
