But remember that seeing and hearing is a huge factor. The series has made it very clear that the biggest hurdle is conveying what you want to the spirit. They are still learning to control and make use of their sprites, they have some premade commands set up, but they are not very adaptable yet. Sure the spirits themselves are powerful, but just look at how the kids got ambushed a few chapters ago. They are not able to deal with surprises yet. Vs monsters they are fine, but vs humans they are not ready.
As strong as he is (and the guild master still doesn’t realize just how broken he is or he’d realize that this dude knows way too much about what he’s plotting), he’s still not an island. If he is actually framed for a crime with enough evidence to back it up, his life will be a lot harder when he’s in any city.
? What are you talking about? The kids were warned by Sylphy and immediately followed her as they were ordered to, so that she could deal with the threat. If they didn't have that plan in preparation already, they'd have wiped the floor with the thugs, since they are much stronger than them. They don't have the hesitancy to deal with enemies that the MC did because of his modern Japanese cultural background.

Let's be real, even with only Sylphy's power there'd be no way he could be caught, kept from anywhere or challenged if he put his mind to it, who knows what options he'd have with the other spirits. This is exactly why I'm saying that nobody believes he has even a sliver of the power a real spirit mage is supposed to wield, not with the way they're still acting towards him, it's supposed to be a highly prestegious occupation, after all.

Yes but it was said multiple times that even a low ranking spirit makes you an elite that countries fight over in order to attract to their side. A mid ranking one is probably something straight out of legends as far as humanity is concerned. This is why it's clear the guild does not believe him - they view anyone who comes to their doorstep with such claims to be a charlatan and it's because most are.
