NGL, the guild master should be ousted for his abuse of power. MC already has connections with one of the more powerful merchants, and they were acting as a middleman for the local nobility. So just a short conversation should put him in a meeting with the powers that be to denounce the guild master for the crooked cunt he is.
The merchant he knows isn't very powerful, he was forced to reveal information about him, after all. I don't recall anything about them being middleman for anyone either.

I do find it kinda odd that he lives in a giant wasteland and it was easier for him to contract a water spirit and nature spirit before even encountering a fire spirit.

Sure there isn't much to burn, but there wasn't much water or plant life either before it was brought in / dug out.
The other great spirits were brought there by Sylphy, under the assumption that he'd be able to establish a habitat for them, like Dyne's spring and fountain. How is he supposed to do the same for a great fire spirit? This was discussed previously, unless he finds a natural gas or peat deposit and lights it up, there's not much hope to keep a constant big fire there. Needless to say, that's a rather dangerous idea, no way to extinguish that afterwards.

Because "thorny" ones already likely do the same, just more efficiently. Poisonous plants are only really dangerous if ingested, otherwise most are harmless. Some have the ability to irritate or cause blisters on touch, but thorny plants do the same and have a better chance to do something against people decked out in armor and other gear.
Honestly should've gone with a mix of sticky and rash causing. Ruin equipment they use to clear

Well, that confrontation has ended, but clearly the guildmaster is not done yet since he's still controlling the guild.

With that said, now that Yuuta has displayed his power so prominently, adventurers will go around and spread the word that he never was a conman but a real, and extremely powerful, spirit mage. Even people who aren't adventurers, who are trying to get to the guild or just passing by, will see the thorny vines around the building, ask how that happened, and learn of Yuuta. I doubt the guildmaster has enough control over all the adventurers in order to put a gag order preventing knowledge of what happened to spread; there are no doubt adventurers who were present who have friends who were not present who will definitely warn those friends to never cross Yuuta.

I don't think the adventurer guild will invalidate Yuuta's guild card. Right now the guildmaster is still being pressured by powerful people to get more rare materials from floor 50 and further, so if these people learn that he's blocking access to the dungeon from the one person who can get the materials the people who actually want the materials (and aren't interested in just speculating on its price) will definitely get mad. And of course, I'm not sure anyone can actually prevent him from going inside the dungeon; whoever is overseeing the card inspection would turn a blind eye, in fear of getting a bad end. In fact, since he was able to provide more fresh materials when there was a blockade in place on the 49th floor, even if Yuuta never actually bypassed the blockade, they could state that he has some spirit magic means of getting inside and that they never saw him go in.

Invalidating the kids' guild cards on the other hand... That's something the guild could do since since the orbs track mana signature based on ID, they might be blacklisted everywhere. But honestly, trying to enrage Yuuta when you don't even have a way of stopping him from retaliating with a room filled with adventurers is something very stupid to do.

Back to the wait for more.

Normal plants or thorny plants. Why not poisonous plants?
Poisonous? Why not Australia’s deadliest tree; The Gympie-Gympie?

very true and that’s exactly what I say every time edgelords comment that mc should just do whatever they want f he wants cause he’s so stupidly powerful. Obviously that’s a bad idea And would definitely get him killed no matter how strong he is.
It's a scale. If he is PERSONALLY powerful enough, he can kill anyone and anything with impunity and there's nothing anyone can do about it. See the series "There's No Need for the Most Evil Rogue to Move" for an example. Here, he is NOT that powerful, he is dependent on his spirits, and his allies/students are still vulnerable, so he must still walk carefully.

I was confused when i saw this being updated... i actually thought it was put on hold.. i am glad it is not.

hmm.
Guildmaster will face a very powerful thing after all this.. that he can't stop. it is rumors. it will spread everywhere.. and soon or later it will come to other guilds' ears what that idiot did.. and they will demand to talk to him and see the books. because we all know he did attempt to commit fraud.

The guild definitely won't stop Yuta. If they tried then the Nobles, Merchants, etc... that were pressuring the guild to find Yuta, in the first place, wouldn't like that and would retaliate. They want Yuta and his power to flood the market with valuable material more than they want the guild. And the guild, I assume, would have a brain big enough to realize that. Hell, now that Yuta's information is getting out into public knowledge, including that Yuta is against the guild, they might pull support from the guild anyway.
