I thought for sure the priestess would get 'captured' by his skill after interacting with her body close to her death. And those monsters he tamed have no chance at all of turning into lolis.

I was using ran away figuratively. In ch 1 he says when he lied about his job he was called a good for nothing and basically ignored and left to his own devices, plus his family are minor remote nobles.

His father did not care due to pride and the job he claimed to have, so there should have been no reason to not take ID.

I think this chapter implicated that he need to go through process to get ID which can reveal his Hero job.

Aka using magic orb or something.

Even then there are people with skill that can reveal his status and job.
