So, yeah… The pacing for this arc sucks, and there’s some highly questionable writing regarding the “entertainment” the author seems to be writing for his “scenes”. However, credit where credit is due: I appreciate that the MC working with the person who used to distrust him is what led to him finding out the truth. That feels decently organic, and like something that could actually happen. It works as a good callout to the MC’s focus being on giving others a chance, instead of just “hur-dur, MC have stronk powerz”.
I mean, I like those kind of manga too, but sometimes it’s nice to read something else 🤣
