Divine exchange rate of 1¥ = 1#. ¥ to $ = ~110, with generous rounding here.
600#/day is pay for a skilled soldier.
1$ chocolates are considered a premium luxury item that, given her behavior, are considered extravagant for a low level noble.
25$/50k# knife, for a 16x profit via direct conversion or 80 days of a skilled soldier's pay.
6#/day for the services of a village hunter, with 8# minimum paid up front.
8# was evidently all magical healing was worth in said village...
10k# for blocking a dungeon... probably just their share. Also, are somebody in charge of a territory, she shouldn't be surprised at the going rate of military service like that...?
Assorted goods for a lowball 225k#. (Cost: 900$.. or about 2x.) Featured a minimum of: 4 cooking knives, 1 indeterminate short-blade knife, 9 wine glasses, 2 bars of soap, 4 bars of chocolate, 1 whetstone, remaining half bottle of wine.
200k# monthly tax revenue from a small town.
Assuming a 30/day month, that's a daily revenue of 6,666. They're literally paying a tenth of their gross revenue to keep him on retainer. Which is totally worth it knowing what he can do, but until then? Geez.
How the hell did they come up with 225k? Retail markup is traditionally 2-4x, but they already established a quality hunting knife is worth 50k#, the low end value of quality soap and whetstone can be easily established (you have a low noble drooling over it and a girl obsessed with knives in your party...)and that leaves the wine glasses... of which as a premium item you could gouge the hell out of. The better answer would probably be to let the buyer offer and either walk away if it's obscenely lowballed (say, 250k...) or dangle the possibility of repeat business or priority for new products as a sweetener if they'll raise the price. And it gets worse-- "Lets deal in antique styled stuff! You know, the stuff you could have made with technology several hundred years old."
...And medical services are probably the easiest form of making money since it's 'free' and rich people are liable to pay a lot for quality proven medical services. Especially if it works on ED. Just... don't do it in villages, since you'll literally get nothing for it.
