Not very slick, was it?There it is, the dig at the American Government at the end of WW2 and the "we did no wrong" of the Japanese Ultra-Nationalist party.
i mean we had already multiple chapters where we seen her progress in resolve, and guerrilla warfare was a valid strategy for that situation, she's already leading that army and issuing all the orders so it's no difference than participating in it herself.Okay seriously why does she have to that personally... worse enough she helps that arrogant greedy fool but to even dirty her hands herself...
Obsidian dust in her pepper and feces arrows.Damn, just imagine obsidian dust in her pepper arrows. The Hague wouldn't even know what to do with her.
Ok but doesn't change the fact that Japanese war crimes were some of the worst humanity has ever seenNo matter how you feel about the plot or characters, what she says there is absolutely right. History is written by the winners, and sometimes the only thing you need to do to win is to survive longer than your enemies, even as you discard all notions of valor and honor to achieve it. She's being realistic here after 5 years of living in that brutal world and I like how the author is being mature about it.
Nowhere in my comment did I try to excuse war crimes committed by anyone. What I said was it's understandable that all belligerents of a war will do anything to win while claiming the moral high ground, and absolutely everyone does that throughout history, both the winners and the losers.Ok but doesn't change the fact that Japanese war crimes were some of the worst humanity has ever seen
