He was never smart, that was his IQ from the beginning. He simply had a silver spoon in his mouth from birth
Well yeah, he's a textbook example of a psychopath. Why he broke down is b/c he got careless and thought he was invincible ー also because his pyromania got a hold of him too much. But yeah, when shit started turning against him, he panicked, so he started doing really dumb stuff, compared to when he was "on top of the world" (in his own eyes, obv.), and could take time to think and plan and scheme. Like all psychopaths, he eventually succumbed to his own desires and that was his downfall...

Lel I like that he became 50 IQ as soon as it was his turn to receive punishment.
It's more about that manga cliche of "fu fu fu I'm too elite to waste my time explaining 1+1 to you peasants"
Anyways Cartman would be so proud of this teacher.

What would sensei have done if his father had sat in the room with the window and his son had checked the windows before setting fire to the building?

I feel bad for the father. Since they said they didn't scream it means he was probably knocked out rather than having to suffer burning alive and feeling the heat, flames, and the agonizing and slow suffocation. I just hope that she releases the files so he isn't a "hero" and that the son also gets burned alive and not just jail since he's now murdered 2 people

Oh he did. That brat thought it was Sakurai instead of his dad.

I bet Sakurai was like, "oh the files? They are here on the table, you can take them and walk away. If your son lets you out and doesn't burn you alive"

1. She (or the wife) probably drugged him with something that prevents or at least numb his body so he can't move.

2. Sensei knew that the son is desperate to get rid of her, so she bet on that.

No, like, he ALWAYS did dumb stuff. The police had him clocked since his first crime, but it was swept under rug by daddy deadest
