I at least have to praise the author for making a romantic story about sexy succubi involve nothing but wholesomeness and barely any direct affection aside from “working together”...at least it serves as a good commentary on Japanese Work-culture, even if it’s a shitty romance.

Not what I was expecting, but alright. Really enjoyed it. Sure some actual romance would have been nice but the way they figured out themselves thrugh each over was a nice idea. Though I wish the MC would be a little more joyful by now. Thanks @Thennos for the translation.

Boring. Fail of an ending.
You want a great ending? Have them notice each other. Hold hands for fucks sake

Not really a bad ending I guess, but when an ending feels like it was unnecessary+more of the same it feels pretty bland. Hopefully the serialized version gets a cute epilogue or something, but I won't get my hopes up too much.

Wat, a rushed ending would've been better than that, none of the major points of the story were solved at all.

An artist's worst critic is always himself. The author will be sitting around, thinking, maybe wanting to get laid, and remember he really didn't resolve Lily's mission. Wait: there may be a Shachiku Succubus no Hanashi II coming. Maybe not right away, but it left too many open ends.

Wholesome (as usual), but boring ending. Like, eh? That's it????

Mr. Salaryman, I was hoping he would find it in himself to improve his life and inspiration from all the time he spent dreaming with Lily, but he didn't. He didn't make friends at work and he's still slaving away at his job, but I suppose he's happier at least, and maybe that's enough for most people in real life. I don't think that's enough when it comes to stories though, and he just feels as empty when the story started.

Lily found romance, happiness, and a new zest for work. I feel like she had the better end of the deal... which is all ruined by the lacklustre ending. All those tsundere and wholesome moments now gone. All the "help" that her friends have been making thrown away.

Maybe maybe maybe he'll continue this in manga... or better yet a doujinshi (or h-manga? I don't really know the exact term). Lily is still a succubus after all, and passive guys need someone aggressive. Is a tsundere aggressive enough I wonder?
