I don’t know that it’s a war if one group has been releasing chapters consistently for a year and the other group has been releasing chapters inconsistently for a week - not that I really care though.

Feuding about sniping, dibs, piracy etiquette, etc. is childish in the grand scheme of things. The world’s on fire.

That said, the other group has been providing a good translation that’s easy to read for a year now and there are so, so many dropped series that nobody works on. Are we ever going to get another translated chapter of “Meikyuu Gurashi no Boukensha wa Dungeon Master wo Yametai“ for example? I don’t know. It was trending on the front page for 4 chapters 2 years ago and nobody’s touched it since. Trending stuff gets abandoned and people just keep trying to translate stuff that’s already popular and actively translated.

The group of groups said they were dropping this months ago, so someone else doing this isn't really a war at this point so much as someone else stepping in when it looked like they finally did drop it.

We always planned to get at least a chapter of Shachou out in a week. we are a new group and we're going to keep doing this at our own pace, and that's fine. there is no "war" either.

true, there are plenty of series but the current group said they were dropping after this volume due to the official english release. Panther is picking it up from there and continuing it so it doesn't become another Meikyuu Gurashi.

Originally, I wished Panther had picked up after the volume so we could go right into new chapters, but it's honestly smart to compare your work to the existing as reference; especially if your TL is newer. No shade, all respect.

This is a series I'd like to see the end of still so glad it's being continuously worked on.

I only said:

Senko and I just always chats, but we never discussed the collab dissolving though. Idk where this rumors come from.

"we never discussed" - we didn't discuss about collabs dissolving. I didn't say or mentioned if we're dropping or not dropping, just that we never had a convo about dissolving the collab. It's actual not my decision on what to do about this series.
