That... Actually kinda makes sense. Considering his sister and mother, it seems like the reveal is that the unnaturally weak Lavi is actually probably going to be ridiculously fucking strong. They were referred to as 'training wheels', do they permanently weaken him if he goes past floor 30? Or do they unseal?

Well, since I just read up to date:

They make him functionally immortal in exchange for three restrictions: One they suppress his stats (he is still weak I guess he's just extra-weak cause of them), two they transfer the damage he takes to his Sister, three they prevent him descending either beyond or to floor 30. It's actually a pretty good reveal in terms of 'ahh, yeah that makes sense' since thinking about it, it's kind of strange his insanely overprotective sister was letting him go into a life or death dungeon all alone.

I remember the part about her sister taking the damage, since I did read up till there, but man I didn't know that the bangle did the other stuff too
