Obviously he was was hiding the sword within him. Down there. So they didn't take it.

On another note... he wanted to die yet now he is moving all over the place. The thing about him smiling when those hoes confessed to him made no sense when he is supposed to be in love with that dead girl. Very confusing stuff.
