Point being this is a adaptation, those runs depend were often its just a few (4-8) volumes and not a full on, sometimes that happens but rarely.

These arent exactly "axed" or the one doing the adaptation diverts too much from the source material (does happen, Mai-Otome manga is very far off), they usually have a fixed length because they are advertisements for the LN, also if you think this is quit shit why are you here? Changes are I drop this off either from irregular releases and never pick it back up or I get bored with it going over the motions but I dont see the need to advertise it, I am not doing a review.

I mean it's been a while between updates and at the time i read it, it didn't have a Genderswap tag, while he has been a girl for a while already at the time 🤔

Then again I have no problem with the tag itself, usually i read it too, but i don't like the way it's done in here, since in my eyes it just suddenly happened, without having direct relation to the story, which makes it kinda feel hard like pure fan service (In my eyes)

Honest recommendation, you can input the text into chatGPT and tell it to leave the text as-is, but to fix the grammar, and you should get a pretty clean revision. Of course, look out for hallucinations, but if you give gpt some clear cut instructions, it will do a stellar job at this.

The problem here is that there is no sensible reason for genderbending. If author explained that MC loved crossdressing in the past or something, I would have accepted it, but ”I want to die as a boy and be known as a girl” out of nowhere seems strange.
