Is it just me or the unreadable part is the exactly size for the word death?

What if she was so crazy and evil because the goddess actually told her to do so? And then later she would willfully die so the slime took her place?

Just because the goddess is supposedly good it doesn’t mean she won't do messed stuff for her long term plans

If past jelly was willing to go so far to listen to the goddess then theres no point in having her killed. Just have her be good from the beginning

Man, the 'revelations' of that room ended up being a bit disappointing. Maybe the original Jelly really WAS that awful, no possession required.
Honestly, the speculation about that being a possession room was more interesting.

What if its not being good but rather Slime Jelly needs to take over Real Jelly like a prophecy. And Real Jelly needs to do a Zero Requiem (make her look bad, and gather all the hate) type of thing in order as trials to make it successful. It could also be the reason why she cant retrieve past jelly's memory

Either that or she was possessed/cursed by someone.

Its just that there is no need to revisit Real Jelly, if its just "im just really that evil"

tho it would really be funny if Slime Jelly was supposed to be the Real jelly in the first place but was mixed up for an evil monster soul and was her soul was thrown into a Slime.

But if Jelly was good from the beginning the timeline would be completely different, her actions affected a  lot of people, sometimes bad shit needs to happen for all the pieces to fall in place

My theory? It this really is all part of a big plan, especially if Jelly was willfully evil and died because the goddess said so, I suspect it's because to win at the end they needed someone with both the powers of the saint and a slime

I think it would be interesting if Jelly was evil because or the goddess, one thing rarely addressed a lot of times is that just because a god is  good it doesn't mean they're necessarily  nice, such beings tend to have a bigger picture mentality and let shit happens because it's needed, if not even cause it themselves

At least I feel it would be more interesting than make the goddess just another generic good deity that never do anything questionable

Yeah, OG Jelly may have thought she was following the words of the goddess but it was something else entirely. Especially given that there is a group willing to kill the saintess who hears the revelation
