Toto's culture level is simply too high.
It'd be nice if that was the case- for a certain monster tamer to still be alive and helping from the shadows.
please pass the copium brother. I also need a hit of that.
passes the Hopium
Who says it wasn't? We never saw the body, and he went down with three wolves in his arms.
They found his coat in the rapids the next day soaked in blood.
They found his coat in the rapidsthe next day soaked in blood.
To put that another way:
They found his coat, in rapids, against a rocket, the next day, where for around twelve hours it had been blasted by the river with gallons of cold water, and it was still soaked with blood.
There is no fucking way, zero percent chance, the fluid they found in that jacket was
human blood from the previous day.
To explain this a little more: when you put human blood in fresh water, the cells inflate and rupture like little overfilled balloons, due to osmosis and them having more sodium than the water. This makes the already small cells be just cell parts. Your blood and related cells have proteins that will denature (read: cook) in hot water and become "sticky", but room temperature water does not cause that reaction. This is why the laundry advice for blood stains is always to immediate rinse the garment in cold water (like say washing a COAT in a RUSHING MOUNTAIN RIVER that has as its source MELTING SNOW AND GLACIERS)
Then remember that he can tame monsters who would have blood that might resemble human blood but would have different properties like say
insolubility in water.
ok yes this assumes the mangaka also thought about human blood and water and didn't just think of a random CSI show where they fished blood-stained clothing out of the sea (where the salt water causes the blood cells to shrink but remain intact) or other fictional murder story where they didn't research things properly
huff on THAT hopium.
For a second I thought Toto would do an M tentacle play with the treants.
Same, same.
On the other hand, denial of that pleasure is also something Toto enjoys.
