Defo seems like the family is used quite poorly as a plot device. If they wanna stretch out the mundane for more impact when action happens, instead of wasting a whole bunch of panels with absolutely nothing happening, why not give some more insight to the lives and thoughts of the characters that are supposed to be a key driving force for the protagonist?
