Have you ever had an image in your head that you tried to recreate, either with drawing, writing or any other medium, and nothing, nothing just seems to capture what you've imagined?

Abso-fucking-lutely. It's a large part of why I gave up on being an author; I was a good worldbuilder and a decent writer, but no matter what I did, I just couldn't translate what I saw in my mind into words that weren't stupidly loquacious or confusingly brief.

That said, what I mean about Gojou doing it out of spite doesn't mean I think he's doing it with negative or malicious feelings; it's that he's trying to prove, both to himself and to Haniel's creator, that it can be done. It'd also prove to Gojou that he can be good enough, both at making Hina dolls, and potentially for being in a relationship with Marin.

I applaud the ML for pursuing his PURPOSE first. The comments need to let the man cook because a man on his purpose (and not his woman) has his priorities straight. There will be time for lovin' later and whoooo boy Marin is probably gonna give him plenty. You KNOW she is coming over first thing in the morning because my guy did NOT take a shower so he funky funky. I got a strange feeling that she will like it in a weird way, LOL. If I could I'd give this take multiple likes. I agree purpose has nothing to do with your woman however she can be an inspirational catalyst.

Well, good chapter. But to be honest, i think that this arc is one of those that doesn't fit in the "wait for one month" for the new chapter. Overall i think that what is going to bother me in the end is if the shiba guy is like: "Oh damn, someone in Japan can actually meet to my expectations". It would be sooooo typical

9/10 manga when binging, 2/10 when reading chapter to chapter. absolutely brutal release schedule.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me here, but I actually like this arc. That's his own struggle that doesn't have anything to do with other people, and I find that pretty motivating

I understand why most dislike this arc; however I think that demonstrates a lack of vision for it's potential. I think you're on the right track with regard to it being about Gojou and his internal workings. Not just his "struggle", but his single-mindedness and worldview, and how it's shifting a bit at a time, largely due to Marins influence. It's entirely possible that I'm wrong, that none of the things I can anticipate happening will come to pass... But the little details set the stage for massive potential " progress" , romantically and otherwise. There's something to be said for the comfort of easily predictable stories, they're enjoyable if done well; but it's massively satisfying to see all the potential threads finally join together, it can even be amazing to not see it until the end, then reread and see the beginnings from the end result.

I hope my anticipation is rewarded.

i'm excited to see how the costume turned out (hopefully next time). i'm wondering if the mangaka will see it (and be moved that someone understood his vision) and gojo will be hired to do costume design for a live action version of the manga or something.
