While he figures out his emotions about the situation, there are other female characters that are satisfied by the ML's performance. He has what's needed to make women happy. There's no ridiculous magic nor ineptitude on his part.

Also, FL has said it isn't that he doesn't perform well nor attractive enough for FL, but that FL has a psychological issue and can't get aroused with the person with whom she has a romantic relationship. It isn't because ML isn't trying or is deficient in some way.

It's because FL is just a broken woman and isn't handling any of this right.
