I know it's been stated before but it is crazy how strong melee fighters are in the human world. I guess it feels weird because up until now it's been against the demons who are OP at magic

it really feels weird, especially because until the recent arc we only saw how strong mages are and we didn't see many warriors aside from stark, we didn't really have a way to compare them to normal humans and to each other.

That said, zuko-with-an-axe here singlehandedly defeated a dragon very early.

We've seen some pretty OP demon fighters, too.

We've seen Himmel simply cut through an invincible magic barrier because he firmly believed there's nothing that cannot be cut with his blade. In the same scene, Eisen said he can easily crush diamonds in his fists, and he has fallen from incredible heights with zero damage. We've also seen Himmel deal with Aura (for a split second, in the anime), dealing her a blow before she could ready her scale.

What is the point of saying "no chapter next week" at this point? It's pretty much turned in to biweekly release no?

true but they are Himmel and Eisen. The Hero's party, they're expected to be out of the ordinary.
At first even frieren is out of the ordinary but then little by little you see other mages can reach (or at least get close) to her level. (even with the "now it's the era of humans" thing)

I think the same is happening for warriors but a little late (right now).
