Personally I don’t think this is a woke case but the mangas pacing and story has been all over the place since the government has been involved. First NTR, mc death fakeout, and now genderbend. Genderbend is usually good when the series lets you know beforehand like Ayakashi Triangle or Ranma 1/2. This series has just fell off because the author is moving to quick with plot developments and they are coming out of nowhere.
