Assuming this is following the WN: The MC threatened the Female acquaintance of the hero, to get her to drop out. He wasn't doing it to be malicious, as he wants her to drop out, so she doesn't die on the next class excursion. Obviously, from a third person's perspective though, he comes across like a scumbag.

Nope thats not why Allen was mad. Allen is mad because it's regarding slavery and how the nobility of this world works. They have different viewpoints on it. Allen believes everyone should be equal and Weiss believes that everyone shouldnt be equal, that the wise/strong should lead the weak so that fools wouldnt ruin things for everyone. The thing about asking Sheryl and Allen to drop out to save Sheryl from a bad end happens a bit later and Allen isn't even mad about that.

All the sex scenes from the WN were removed from the LN which is fine as thats not really needed in this kind of story as it would just mess with the flow and dynamic of the story. The manga follows the LN with creative liberties taken to make full use of the manga medium. For example the Lilith chase scene never happened in the LN. The Lilith and Cynthia Yandere moments with Karta also do not happen in either the WN nor LN. Sadly we did lose some stuff from the WN and LN that I enjoyed like the constant meeting of Lilith, Zebis, Milk, and Cynthia regarding Weiss which ends up with Milk calling Zebis incompetent, Lilith trying to stop the two from fighting, and Cynthia just off in her own world thinking how she can make herself prettier for Weiss that ends abruptly when Weiss gets out of the bath and sees them all together with them replying nothing is going on at all to him. Hopefully this gets added to the volume releases as bonus side chapters. We also lost Lilith and Karta fighting Weiss last chapter and got more of Cynthia, so less fanservice of those two. The pool battles also started off with Darius and Milk showing off without magic or body enhancements to prove that Milk was capable enough to be a teacher. In this chapter itself it skips that Zebis was the one who saved Allen from his village's destruction as well as him being Allen's first teacher before Darius took over.

Ah you're right, that does happen too - I haven't read the WN in some time. Though the comic is changing things around a fair amount, so we'll have to see if that's still the case.
