I just wanted to say there is a manga about a boyfriend and girlfriend living together, "My Girlfriend is The Best" and it is based on their actually life. You can also find many manga on the theme with the cohabitation tag on manga updates.

They weren't living on a farm in the countryside. It's entirely irrelevant to the scenario in question: would cohabiting with a girlfriend from outside the village be normal in rural Japan or in Sera's world? And the answer for rural Japan is definitely No. Not to say it can't happen, but it would very much be an exceptional situation, not the norm.

It feels emphasis here is being placed on perception of how traditional the old couple is while sidestepping it's still pretty much a leap in logic. It only worked out as it did because Sera didn't seem to have the sense to deny it which people seem to writing off due to her fantasy feudal world despite no clear evidence of it.

I like how they decided to be pretend lovers now. I was expecting Jin to start denying every rumor about Sera being his wife, to everyone, to hell and back, but this "faking a marriage" because there are positives in it for them is a much more interesting direction to take.

At least one of the school girls (Kotori) may have a little crush on him, but I'm more interested in Kaho's course of action, she's closer to his age and seems to have more than just a crush regarding Jin. Though if she also turns out to be his ex, that's not gonna help this beat the allegations of being a copycat story.

Regardless, I'm really enjoying this though. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Yeah, at least they managed to avoid that kind of annoying backpedalling that you see so often. Although there was still some unnecessary bits there about not actually doing couple things that really should've been obvious considering it is still a fake face they put up.
