Thank you for the translation!

As someone who has only ever read the manga, this took me by total surprise! Became a bit scared that this was the end, but now excited to see the future, with new storylines! :)

I don’t follow the novel, so… does this mean a time skip and a new protag? Not a complain, just a neutral question.
No.
Basic setting 'spoiler'
Mia has cleared the dark future from her diary and secured happiness for the kingdom... for now.
In the future the plot begins anew and by the time of her children's children, it has come back into effect, and the kingdom once again falls.
Miabel is the latest final only remaining royal of the glorious unstable destroyed Tearmoon kingdom. And it appears timeslip abilities are hereditary. Luckily, she timeslips right into the lap of The Great Wise Glorious Undefeated Shark Slaying Sage Mia-Sama who will definitely fix everything.... Or at least she'll bumble around while everyone else fixes it around her.

And so we've reached the ending point of the anime. While I wished we had more eyes on this series, cause its pretty under-rated among the isekais. Excited to see more of Arc 2 adapted.

On a related note and mild spoilers, but its too funny to not mentioned it
Mia later tried to figure out how the time travel works, hit the usual time paradox dilemma, and finally gave up, accepting that "the gods are probably lazy" as the answer to the time paradox
Honestly? Given the bullshit our own universe's Writers' Room puts us through, that answer is far from impossible.

If anyone is interested in a story about Mia’s return to Remno set 4 years after this manga, you might want to take a look at:

https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/74801/tearmoon-empire-the-tearmoon-princess-in-the-kingdom

It is a full-length fan-fiction—it does contain some mild spoilers for volumes 3-10. But it is also a very satisfying continuation of the events tha6 went unresolved in the main series. It is also posted on archive of our own and Wattpad, if you prefer those sites.

Finally. This is the part where I'd say Tearmoon really starts taking off.

The Princess and the Guillotine Saga was funny, but the jokes about her death do end up being a tad repetitive. And honestly, I would say the Remno Revolution arc is probably one of the weaker, or I daresay even the most boring arc in the novels. But after this, the story really gets the ball rolling and doesn't really stop. A shame that this is really only up to where the anime covered. It was literally just the beginning. Also a double shame that the manga is just too darn slow.

I didn't read the WN, but I remember something about her having 8 kids, tho.... It might've been in another part of the LN, IDK...

You mean her maternal great grandfather (the current king in this timeline ー Mia's dad)
No, the paternal grandfather is introduced as a character later on and he's as blunt as a ton of bricks. Academically competent but with none of Mia's guile.

I think the Remno revolution arc is Tearmoon's weakest arc, but the student council election arc is nearly as bad as it. It's the arcs after that that really get the ball rolling since we finally get more details about what they're really up against, and the greater worldbuilding sets up the stakes.
