I don’t follow the novel, so… does this mean a time skip and a new protag? Not a complain, just a neutral question.

Sadly 2 generations isn't enough to increase its member IQ, still kinda lucky tho :meguupog:
Mia isn't really dumb though. The narrator loves berating her, but there are times where she's seriously clever, like when she managed to create a pretense to order the soldiers out of the Lulu's woods. Or
how she managed to trick the central nobles into accepting Outcount Rudolvon's promotion.

Really though, Bel's stupidity can be blamed more on her paternal grandfather than Mia or Abel

Wait... so in the next chapter there's a timeskip and a new main character? We have to say goodbye to Mia?

That's one thing people often misunderstood about her imo, she isn't dumb, but she isn't genius like what others think she is either. She just doesn't use her brain as much as she can, because she realize she can just dump everything on her hyper competent subordinates, but when she actually tries she do get decent results.

I'm fine with that, spoil away.
Gonna make it as brief as possible because the spoilers is better when experienced it without knowing too much
Let's just say the fate of the continent heavily relies on Mia, so she will still be the center figure. And Mia's speculation that she won't be the only person to experience time travel... Well...

This is really smart of Mia to consider, and humble too since she has no idea how the time mechanics work.
On a related note and mild spoilers, but its too funny to not mentioned it
Mia later tried to figure out how the time travel works, hit the usual time paradox dilemma, and finally gave up, accepting that "the gods are probably lazy" as the answer to the time paradox

likely WN then, since like I said, I just pulled out my copy of the LN and it didn't say anything like that. There will be difference like this as the author made changes to the story here and there with the LN.

This is one of those funny bits where you see the author didn't like something, or maybe the editor, so they decided to remove it. Will say, I do believe further down the line there are some more noticeable changes the author did mention about in the afterword of the novel, but that won't be in the manga anytime soon.
I didn't read the WN, but I remember something about her having 8 kids, tho.... It might've been in another part of the LN, IDK...

You mean her maternal great grandfather (the current king in this timeline ー Mia's dad)

that was in this chapter, they were referring to the book Mia was reading
nono, I was talking about I remembered that from the LN but somebody said they couldn't find that part in the LN, so I was wondering if it was elsewhere in another volume of the LN.
