Thank you for the chapter!
unlike other chapters, her head is no longer in the guillotine anymore after all, so of course her braincell no longer activate. Why is Mia stupider than usual? In the other arcs, she's selfish but not stupid like a bimbo. Here she is like one.
Direct correlation between Mia's access to sweets and her brain powerWhy is Mia stupider than usual? In the other arcs, she's selfish but not stupid like a bimbo. Here she is like one.
The best part of the LN is her inner monologue and the narrator trying his best retorting or snarking at her. It's actually suffering for it. In the LN, her inner monologue during this arc is pretty funny.
well, first of all she is already saved from guillotine. Second, she has no way of learning the future now. Third, she's in foreign land. Why is Mia stupider than usual? In the other arcs, she's selfish but not stupid like a bimbo. Here she is like one.
if you have forgotten from a few chapters ago, the whole situation is incredibly rushed in Remno. Both Dion and Ludwig pointed out that a revolution would have occurred eventually thanks to the heavy taxes, but it would have come much later, like in a few years. The arguments being made by both sides aren't going to be all that strong when things are being forced in this directionI find it hard to think the revolutionaries as the bad guys. Neither side has a particularly good argument
And the reason the revolution only kicked off was because of the disappearance of the prime minister, which Jem was able to appeal to the revolutionaries' emotions. You need to remember these guys originally are just a bunch of drunks complaining about life, they aren't suffering that much yet.I find it hard to think the revolutionaries as the bad guys. Neither side has a particularly good argument
Mia is very simple minded, plus her brain doesn't work without sweets and some restI love all the misunderstandings but...did Mia just forgot Prince Abel because of some snacks and a bath?!
Come on! He's right their on her chart!!
Also she's still making good moves.it's less her being dumb and a bit more carefree. The biggest thing is also that the manga isn't really showing her thoughts in the current chapters, instead choosing to focus more on Sion and having Mia as comedic stuff in the background
for Sion, it's that he is naive and doesn't really try to see the whole picture for things. He takes most info at face value, only seeing things as black and white. It's the way his whole country is, with there who sense of justice and that they are always in the right. Also she's still making good moves.
Lambert's full of shit, he doesn't respect her, and he's got them outnumbered.
I'd argue that the wise/smart moves here are to a) not challenge Lambert while he has the upper hand ✔️, b) stop Sion from agreeing to anything stupid ✔️, stall for time ✔️, and maybe arrange for an opportunity to talk away from Lambert ✔️.
Really I felt like Sion was the weak link in this chapter. I wonder what his upbringing was like; to me it feels like someone made a point of not teaching him how to see through dudes like Lambert so he'd be easier to manipulate.
I can only imagine how many innocent people they put in prison (or have executed), all in the name of (false) justice.for Sion, it's that he is naive and doesn't really try to see the whole picture for things. He takes most info at face value, only seeing things as black and white. It's the way his whole country is, with there who sense of justice and that they are always in the right.
