I dropped this at chapter 10. I'm writing because I can see so much potential in the premise of this that it's incredibly sad that it's just this... boring. It's such a shame since there's only really one thing I would complain about. The art is phenomenal and I think that the characters are just okay.
Simply put, everything goes Mia's way. Yes, that's the big problem. It's so fucking boring. Everything she says somehow gets misinterpreted one way or another, it gets super annoying. It's not going to be funny if you're gonna make the same joke the hundredth time.
Remember that chapter about Rebecca? I thought she was going to notice something wrong with Mia and say that "you've changed" or something along those lines. And when Mia rejects her or something, she's actually gonna have an enemy, someone that makes conflict. I know that the fight is against the guillotine or something, but it's gonna be really anticlimactic if everything just goes her way. Like duh, literally nothing fucking bad happened to her.
Wouldn't one if the maids or the chef in the earlier chapters feel like something is off? One day she's your normal trashy princess Mia, and then the next day, she just suddenly turns all grateful and all kind without reason. Did everyone just forget what she was like? No one questioned anything about this?
What about that chapter with the prince's knight, where he makes a valid point that Mia could've just told one of her cronies to do that to Fiona? Nope, they've been brainwashed SO HARD that there was literally 0 skepticism in her at all.
It's not like that much time has passed for them to completely just trust her like that. I would get that with the Anna, but why would Fiona and her maid have that much trust just because Mia saved them from being bullied once?
I don't really have a problem with Mia's personality being rotten or being a morally grey character. In fact, I think that it makes it a lot more interesting than just her doing a complete 180 and suddenly being a good person. I can see the development of turning into someone better in the future.
The problem is it's just not fun to follow Mia around. Comedy isn't exactly one of this manga's strengths, and everyone else is so fucking brain-dead, that even trying to take this seriously doesn't feel right.
Maybe this problem is fixed in later chapters. I don't know, feel free to correct my with my complaints if it gets better. I got extremely bored of it in just 9 chapters. Wouldn't recommend it, as far as my experience with this manga is telling me.
