So Tenga abandoning her last chapter might have been accidental if he bonded with a spirit. I'm unclear on that.
It did seem though that since he's aware of it here, he ran for Norio when he realised he didn't react to move to the priestess's side. It made him realise he was already there, which meant Norio was elsewhere.
