Thank you, I really enjoyed the chapter I'm not sure about this also, but maybe there's something more about why she rebelled and she also didn't wanted this fight, what if she is not the real enemy...

Well Polidoro showing his prowess is very satisfying I wonder when Astarte will come with backup
Previous chapters laid out she lost a power struggle against her sister and her daughter is implied to either be a hostage or dead.

... what did I just read? The dialogue felt hard to follow and confusing.
Or is it just me?

Still think there should be at least some difference. Sure it makes sense in-universe, but it also just makes things needlessly confusing. If confusion is the point of it then fine, but the characters in the story are not confused by it; only readers are.

Theres a reason why most media makes bad guys looks like bad guys, even if they realistically shouldnt look all that much different than the good guys.
TBH didn't find it all that confusing. The group of traitors were constantly making excuses for their actions, where as the princesses group were mostly perving on the MC, complaining about the lack of booze or visiting the brothel.

The combat scenes were much the same. It was either the traitors vs villagers or MC vs the traitors. The princess and her escorts just mostly supported the MC. So not much to confuse.

Hesitation is defeat.
Just felt like for the carriage scene he is so much more stronger (as seen in this and the previous chapter) than the injured soldiers he could have maybe aim for a maim strike rather than a lethal one

Those runaways are involved in raiding, looting, and kidnapping. They probably even raped those boys or turned a blind eye to it. They deserve no sympathy. Flip the sexes around: would you still think it was a bit much?

And regardless of their crimes, they're still threats to Polidoro's safety. They're not civilians.
I wasn't reacting thinking that because they are women (though it might have weighted in, unconsciously), only that Polidoro is, as seen, superior to them and them, being injured I would have liked for him to do a non lethal strike on the carriage/the injured soldiers.
But in context you are right, his objective is to route his enemies and get to their commanding knight asap so not taking risk is better

How is it senseless? The running away army looted the crown's lands and kidnapped a bunch of boys. This is the pursuit by the Crown. Regardless of their reasons, in a medieval society, they are guilty, and they have already attempted to fight back - what is Faust supposed to do, take long enough for them to get another chance to shoot him?
Exactly, it’s an equivalent of a medival army in our history kidnapping women for slavery.

Bro 110 comments and 68k follows already. Last time I checked it wasn't even close to this.

How the fuck did this manga get so popular? Is this the power of femdom fetish?

Splits are fine if it's published like that. I only hate when a group takes a chapter that's released at once but long and chops it up.

I suppose having him pause before starting to mow down the runaways would be weird but indiscriminately killing them is a bit much..
Thanks for the chapter
It's not indiscriminate.
they are all enemy combatants who were part of a larger group raiding villages like bandits, trying to escape to another country.
not to motion this is a revers society world.
but with the MC's rampage anyone would be forgiven if the forgot that
