Does sex hormones work differently in this world too? Like men get muscles easier because of testosterone. Is it switched so oestrogen works more in that favor or something?

most likely men just don't strive for muscles and women strive to gain them. but if you want to bring biology into it, it may very well be that men who had a lot of testosterone weren't selected for evolutionary speaking and maybe women who had more were more selected.

but the explanation that makes most sense is that men being alive was significantly more important than women (which is/was the opposite in our world where a man's reproductive role doesn't take 9 months and can be done repeatedly) so the role of men was to stay behind while the women put themselves in danger.

Still won't work either. Or they must have an absolutely alien physiology. Like man can live through violently loosing a limb during combat, or getting a lot of serious injuries and still survive, because the tolerance for this is greater than in females, who can die from just a shock of a stab wound made by an 18-19th century bayonet, and male soldiers survived through multiples of such injuries (there is an anecdotal case of one russian soldier during napoleonic wars survived almost 40 stab wounds made with a needle bayonet, which is an almost half a meter of steel, in a single battle, and it wasn't even his last battle he got stabbed (mf survived through war and retired in the end), and it was not the first he got stabbed in). There should be some really convoluted bullshity explanation for this to work, and not males just have large harems.

One of the biggest differences between men and women are testosterone. It makes men more aggressive, and it makes it easier for men to gain muscle than women. Testosterone is the main reason that it's hard for women to compete against men in sports, and why men than has converted to women and compete in women sports have an unfair advantage over women. I don't think this world could be this different without some differences in how hormones work honestly.

For the reason than just 10 percent born are boys instead of the usual 50/50 (okay, for boys it's actually a little over 50 percent because the Y chromosome is lighter than the X chromosome, but it evens out since more boys die than girls), it's kind of hard to find a good reason. If I had to guess it'd be because a lot of the X chromosomes in this world are weak, and for girls it doesn't matter that much since they have two X chromosomes, but boys only have one X and one Y chromosomes, so X chromosome faults causing spontaneous abortion might be the reason for the difference.

It's important having the scientific facts straight in ecchi. Can't fap without it being scientifically correct.

Considering the two traps that were ragging on our boy and the shota that got bootied in the intro, it definitely seems like the average male has absurdly low testosterone compared to what we'd call normal... and testosterone also plays a pretty big part in sexual attraction in men since higher T = higher sex drive on average. With low T males having lower sex drives and men in general being highly valued in the sexual market place, A high or even averge T male likely like MC would be an absurdly rare and unusual...

We're likely looking at centuries or even millenia of the twinkification of men and amazonification of women.

You know, I have a feeling that the author may go the route where he makes Faust kinda weaker then we expected compared to some other characters, but since he's a guy, he makes all his enemies feel awkward, as mentioned earlier when the squire could barely look him in the eye. (Also, flag in chapter one where the queen states "There's no way she can fail if Polidoro is there to help her" makes it seem like this is more of the case to me)

Another thing that is peaking my interest why the world is women dominated as some others have mentioned. Like, if as implied that men are raised to be effeminate, fought over for by nations/people in power and are jealously guarded, then I'm going to assume that they do not do much dangerous work, besides sitting around and being pretty.

Which I then assume that women do all sorts of dangerous work, including fight for both nations and for their people as mentioned in chapter 1, and other tasks not related to war. So if that's the case, I assume the casualty rate for women while working/warring would be exponentially higher then men, so it surprises me that the population ratio of men to women hasn't equalized, or even changed from 1:9 men to women, to something like 3:7.

My one guess I can take off the top of my head is that there may be something deeper that's causing this population ratio, like maybe a form of disease that increases infant mortality in men specifically or something. Who knows, all I know is that this one point has peaked my interest in this manga, and I wonder where the author goes with this story.
