Was trying to compare TL between the 2 scans. It's hard to say, since both seem to have good parts where the other isn't as good.
For example (green, bold, and underline are better):
K: Would it have been easier to come by bike?
S: Is it easy to come if you were to use your bicycle?
K: Since next month is my birthday...
S: Since my birthday is next month...
Idk, maybe you guys could team up or something. I feel like this would be a good opportunity to work together and deliver the best of both worlds. This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Yeah I agree with this as well, can tell the difference in TL with this one being a little more "flowery" (but does get a bit much at some points) and the other being rather straightforward (however I'll give Sapporo the pass for still being new). I also checked out the raws, and there were some different (albeit small) interpretations between the two (this is gonna get long so hang in tight):
Original: …分かったよ
Direct TL: ...I understand (よ)
S: ... Guess it can't be helped
K: Alright, fine...
Sapporo's one, in Japanese would normally be something akin to しょうがない, but their translation imo also works because it's a direct follow up to what Haruki said. The outcome, either way, no matter how is said, is the same: Hayato understands what Haruki wants and lets her come. Up to preference of the reader though.
Original: 伸ばしてねぇよ!可愛いのは… 認めるけどさ
Direct TL: It isn't growing (よ)! But regarding cute (Minamo), I'll admit it.
S: Hey! It is not getting longer! But I will admit that she is cute...
K: N-No it's not! Though, that second bit... I do admit.
Kama's TL here fits the little comedy mood scene that was going on here, didn't include any of what was in the raw but still was able to convey that exact same message. But it's once again, up to preference.
There's also others which I am too lazy to write, but from what I see, Sapporo more accurately (or directly) depicts what's in the raws (unless they don't get it, happens), I also did a quick double check with the raws, and yeah, no problems there, from that, Kama tends to twist the sentence more, and pretty much hits the mark like 90% of the time. However in both TLs the difference is REALLY minimal and you can get the same message from either. Both have their strengths but I feel only a little more inclined to lean to Sapporo here.
A colab would be nice but it already seems like Sapporo is already expanding towards other manga (which is pretty damn quick assuming they didn't do any prep beforehand).
