@KamiKira00 I'm guessing this is because the enemy mage was still putting up a fight, and even if they were winning against him they need to be able to leave ASAP if the guards are getting involved now too.

Abyss almost died when she got teleported to Tenohira because of how thin the magic was there, so Kai's probably teleporting the mage there now so that his magic can be nullified + the warriors still there can beat him up immediately (or just tie him up until they're finished prep to leave town, and then toss him on the side of the road), and without magic + a whole village+warriors Kai probably won't be in much danger anyway.

I wonder why Kai didn’t use one of those teleportation points outside of the village before beginning this whole operation... it would’ve made things 1000000x easier for them, since they can just go to the village and then teleport outside of the city. Are the teleportation points permanent, and he didn’t want to waste one on this rescue mission? Even so, everyone could, at the very least, hide out at the island for a while as Kai and Abyss escape with no trouble...
