Why do manga show as updated so often on this site and are unavailable?

@Glowworm I've been told that new uploaders need their first few chapters to be manually approved by moderators. My guess is that when it's uploaded, it shows up in the 'recent updated' list, since it technically was, but it's hidden/filtered out from the chapter list of the manga until approved.

@Tairo That makes sense as to what's happening. I think it would be better if it didn't even show up for us as a notification until it was approved. Often things don't get approved because I've noticed about half the time the chapter won't show up for days or weeks later.

However, I've recently discovered that the translations from chapters 1-117 of the novel have been erased from Wattpad, so that's a big bummer...

For reference, the end of chapter 117 takes place during

the beginning of the desert saga.

If I recall correctly, that's not too far from where we are now in the manga, so it's possible to just wait until that point so you can continue on from the novel. Or if you're really impatient, you can try and deal with what we've got on novelupdates...

Reading from 1-117 on novelupdates can be quite frustrating as the translation groups constantly shifted and the quality of some of the listed groups is grim to say the least (like one of the groups translated the novel in all lower case! It doesn't sound bad but my eyes bled I tell you!). Can't help much on that front... but some people on Wattpad appear to be attempting to translate from the beginning, although it will take a while since the latest guy is on chapter 8. And I don't know about their quality.
