So glad to see the comment reflect what I think about this chapter.
Manga dad:
Look at my small children, I make them fight for our enjoyment.
And when they are done beating each other, you as an adult can have a turn giving a beating.
But only against the ugly runt of the family, you know the dead eyed kid who is raking in cash left and right and is better at magic.
Lets make him use a sword, ban magic and then throw his siblings at him to soften him up before your turn. Just wait until you see what kind of damage his mentally deranged sister can do to him. It's an entire show.

Every single one seems to mistreat him on a daily basis... and he doesn't seem to care that much.
Either the author concept of a family is damn messed up or Japan is quite hardcore on its upbringing policy.

I like that the MC is only op at somethings and not absolutely all of them.
Thanks for the update. You'd have to wonder WHY they keep doing this and still consider it isn't abuse of any kind. I mean, he literally improved their fief with his ideas, why do they do this to a young kid? Sure, the sister is a battle maniac and is a moron with good battle instincts but *sigh* she's beyond salvageable as a chara.
WHY are they limiting his battle prowess? Sure, there will be situations where his magic will be nulled but his strength lies either as a pure mage or a mage knight. The training is a bit of a waste if the guy is fighting someone in their best aptitude while he's been handicapped

Hmmm...... I really don't get it why lots of people got agitated...
MC's father is a dragon slayer and excel in sword combat, that's why he limits MC power to physical. It's understandable.
This "child abuse" is not near it. It's common to have a fight between siblings but MC still interact and play with his siblings. If you want to see "child abuse", expect MC to get beaten to near death and when he recuperates, he got beaten again.
As for why MC's father goes far to make MC fainted in previous chapters, he want to teach him a lesson. MC knew he provokes his father and siblings and knew he will get "lesson". But did MC hates them to the point where he wants to run away or killing them?
As for the maids acting casual with him, it's in the first place that MC acting casual to them and not showing his authority.

It's hard to consider it abuse when it's all consensual. The MC has the power to stop them but doesn't, because the author is a massive masochist and gets off on that. Many of the author's other stories follow the same trend, it's pretty much confirmed this author loves getting humiliated.

yea, i'm gonna drop this if what they say about this type of stuff continuing. It makes no sense at all as to why he's treated like this regardless of whether he's a magical prodigy. I think the only thing that could make me pick it up again as it gets released is if the sister is married off and never returns.
@NazrinMaus So it's a case of the author's fetish coloring and distorting rational character behavior? That's.... somehow worse and yet a lot funnier? I can stop taking it seriously as an attempt at writing and characterization and look it as "this is the authors brain on clown porn."
On the other hand, it's not like other isekei's aren't guilty of the same. Many works throw out shallow villains as power fantasy fodder and so on.

I love the novel and manga! The siblings jokes are funny! I also love how hilarious Al's mind flow is. He may be older inside but he's definitely still a kid and its entertaining! how I wish theres another chap now.

@Scholtz It is abuse if he always gets beatings in that form, without that someone takes his side. More often then not people who get abused by family dont defend themselves, because they are "trained" that they deserve it. That can even happen to adult people and is by no means something that justifies all of that.
If the dad and family would make the siblings compete with the MC in terms of Magic or something like that, then it would be another thing. But that doesnt happen and it is more like, that the father doesnt want his son to be a mage. He is directly wasting all the talent his son has for magic, because the family are knights and the daugther and eldest son have talent in it.
At start they did encourage him, but in the last chapters they only hold him down and abuse him like that. That the father did go overboard to knock his son out is 1 thing and is taken as something natural without any form of acknowledgement that it was too much.
Also if we seee how MC is treated and NO ONE says anything to defend or praise him even though he did great things for their area.
Even if it is the kink of the Author, this doesnt make it better, on the contrary it makes it worse. It doesnt fit into the story and just makes it really really bad writing. Maybe go the classic and let him have a love interest later that he is completely whipped by her. THAN it would have a fun twist (even if it is somewhat standard), like this it isnt anything besides abuse.
